The $30 Safe You Need

If you don’t have a small, portable handgun safe, you should check out the new SecureIt Rover.

It’s solid steel, lightweight, and easy to conceal. Depending on size, you can fit 1-2 guns in there. And it’s lined with foam padding so your guns won’t get damaged or corrode.

I’ve never had a personal safe before, so I’m excited to have it when I travel, but it’s great to use at home or in the car too. They included a 3’ steel cable, so you can secure it pretty much anywhere but still grab it and go.

Small personal safes are great for:

  • Traveling with your firearm (not TSA approved).

  • Bolting down somewhere hidden in your home.

  • Securing with the cable (vehicle seat frame, heavy furniture that’s not easily moved).

This one is key-lock only, too, so no messing around with codes or finicky biometrics.

(Full disclosure: they sent this to me to review as they’re getting into the handgun safe market. As always, I don’t post about products I wouldn’t buy with my own money.)

I’m part of their affiliate network, which helps pay for my time spent making content, so if you’re inclined to buy from that link, I always appreciate it! 🖤
