How To Conceal Carry In Tight Outfits

One of the most common questions I get from women is:

How can I conceal in tight clothing?

I don’t struggle with this often because I prefer to wear loose clothes, but sometimes I need a solution, too.

Take this date night outfit, for example:

I played around with my Phlster Enigma Express worn deep in the pants, and it worked ok, but I was still getting some below-the-belt printing.

So, I grabbed my Cakes Concealed Madeline Bag instead of trying to conceal on-body.

I’ve talked about this a lot, but I conceal on body 95% of the time, and the other 5% you’ll notice I wear some type of fanny pack.

Fanny packs worn cross-body or on the hips are my preferred way to carry off-body because they give the most natural draw if you’re used to carrying appendix.

The problem with most fanny packs?

They look like you’re carrying a gun in them! I don’t mind it when I’m dressed casually, but date night is a different story.

I like this one by Cakes because it looks like a trendy purse any woman would wear.

In most dresses, I wear my Phlster Enigma Express, and I’ve concealed in this one too. This day it was about 95* and I knew we’d be outside a lot and I didn’t want anything extra underneath the dress. So, I grabbed my Cakes bag again, and it went perfectly with this outfit.

Off-body carry is OK as long as you follow the extra rules. Kydex holster ONLY, practice your draw a lot because bags move around, and never take it off while you’re out.

I’ve been happy with my Cakes Madeline and look forward to getting the XL size so I can carry something a little larger.
